JIM MANCUSO, P.Eng.
Mr. Mancuso joined Azure Dynamics in 2004 and his current role is VP for Current Product Engineering. In this role, his responsibilities include the ongoing sustaining Engineering for all current vehicle programs as well as the Engineering for new variants and cost reductions. Furthermore, Jim also continues to have responsibility for ensuring that all Azure development programs are executed against well defined requirements and an appropriate gated product development process. Previous to his current role, Jim held positions as Director, Program Engineering, Program Manager and Senior Powertrain Engineer at Azure Dynamics.
Prior to joining Azure Dynamics, he spent 9 years working in the alternative fuels industry with TeleflexGFI Control Systems and 1 year in the forestry equipment industry with Timberjack. While at TeleflexGFI, he held roles as Program Manager, Technical Centre Manager and Senior Powertrain Engineer and was responsible for the development and release of all natural gas and propane engine calibrations for the passenger vehicle and heavy duty markets for Ford OEM applications as well as many aftermarket applications. He holds a B.A.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
