AZD’s Low Emission Electric Power (LEEP) refers to all systems whereby clean electric power is generated off the vehicles’ power train to supply a range of auxiliary systems and export power applications. The LEEP system delivers improvements in fuel utilization and emission levels by optimizing the energy management between the engine and an energy storage system and can be plugged into the grid for off-duty charging. The LEEP system has a wide range of applications including refrigeration, aerial lift and a field of others. |
